1. A separable distortion disparity determination system comprising:
an electronic device including a frame and first and second cameras supported by the frame, wherein each camera has a corresponding viewpoint separated in a baseline direction;
a processor configured to:
obtain first and second images of a scene captured with the first and second cameras;
modify the first and second images to generate respective first and second corrected images, while maintaining scene correspondence in the baseline direction, by altering horizontal components based on directional components in a horizontal direction but not a vertical direction and altering vertical components based on directional components in the vertical direction but not the horizontal direction;
determine pixel pairs between the first and second corrected images in the baseline direction; and
determine disparity correspondence for each of the determined pixel pairs from locations in the first and second images corresponding to respective locations of the determined pixel pairs in the first and second corrected images.
