11. A cellular network system, comprising:
a 5G New Radio (NR) cellular network comprising a first plurality of base stations;
a cellular network interference management system that functions as part of the 5G NR cellular network, the cellular network interference management system configured to:
receive interference modelling from a satellite operator that operates a satellite;
receive orbital data for the satellite, wherein:
the satellite utilizes a first frequency band; and
the orbital data is indicative of an orbit of the satellite around Earth;
determine a plurality of user equipment (UE) each conducting an active call using a second frequency band at the one or more base stations in response to the orbital data for the satellite;
for each UE of the plurality of UE, perform a handover of the active call to a different frequency band; and
based upon the orbital data for the satellite, the interference modelling, and following completion of the handover, cause the second frequency band to be disabled at one or more base stations of the 5G NR cellular network.
