1. A baffle for a furnace of a heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) system, comprising:
a mounting flange configured to be secured to a housing panel of a housing of the furnace;
a first panel extending from the mounting flange and away from the housing panel into an air flow path extending through the furnace; and
a second panel extending from the first panel and converging toward the housing panel in an upstream direction, relative to a direction of air flow along the air flow path, wherein the first panel is a first planar member extending linearly from the mounting flange to the second panel, and wherein the second panel is a second planar member extending linearly from the first planar member.
