1. A drilling tool for drilling a wellbore in a formation, comprising:
a drill bit comprising a plurality of blades,
wherein each of the plurality of blades comprises a gauge having a length and an angle;
a machined connection disposed on the drill bit,
wherein the machined connection is configured to allow attachment of a plurality of machined rings to the plurality of blades,
wherein the plurality of machined rings are configured to form the length and the angle of each gauge based on number and type of each machined ring attached,
wherein the drill bit is configured to operate in different formations based on the gauge of each of the plurality of blades, and
wherein the drilling tool is redesigned by removal or addition of one or more of the plurality of machined rings based at least in part on a modified length and a modified angle configured in view of a characteristic of the wellbore.
