1. A system comprising:
a fleet of unmanned autonomous vehicles configured to be serviced by a plurality of chargers;
a charger among the plurality of chargers, the charger comprising:
a charger wireless communication interface to broadcast charging data to the fleet of the unmanned autonomous vehicles via a first wireless communication channel;
a transmit charging coil to transmit wireless energy via a second wireless communication channel to an unmanned autonomous vehicle among the fleet located within a threshold distance;
a processing logic configured to drive the transmit charging coil to transmit an authentication challenge signal to the unmanned autonomous vehicle via the second wireless communication channel; and
the unmanned autonomous vehicle comprising:
a battery;
a vehicle communication interface to receive the charging data directly from the charger wireless communication interface via the first wireless communication channel; and
a wireless energy receiving module communicatively coupled directly with the transmit charging coil of the charger via the second wireless communication channel, the wireless energy receiving module configured to:
receive the authentication challenge signal from the transmit charging coil via the second wireless communication channel;
measure electrical attributes including current supplied to charge the battery based on the authentication challenge signal;
generate an authentication response signal based on the measured electrical attributes; and
transmit the generated authentication response signal to the transmit charging coil of the charger.
