1. A prick test kit, comprising:
a plurality of wells, wherein each of the plurality of wells includes an associated vial of a small amount of a specific antigen, and wherein each of the plurality of wells includes a plurality of spring-loaded tabs disposed at an upper edge of the well, wherein each one of the plurality of spring-loaded tabs is operable to cooperate with one of a plurality of notched portions of the vial, to maintain the vials in the plurality of wells, each of the plurality of vials having a sealed upper surface facing outwards from the associated one of the plurality of wells that allows access to the small amount of antigen contained therein when the sealed upper surface is broken; and
a penetrating plate disposed above the plurality of wells and having on a lower surface thereof diametrically opposite from the vials in the wells a plurality of piercing needles, each one of the plurality of piercing needles associated with one of the plurality of wells and directed downward thereto and able to break the sealed upper surface of the associated one of the vials when moved towards and into the associated sealed upper surface such that at least a portion of the small amount of antigen in the associated one of the vials is disposed on at least a portion of the associated one of the plurality of piercing needles and wherein each of the piercing needles is of a length that will not allow penetration though a bottom of the associated vial;
wherein the penetrating plate is a rigid plate that facilitates movement of all of the plurality of piercing needles to move towards the sealed upper surfaces of the associated ones of the vials at the same time such that the at least a portion of each of the plurality of piercing needles has the at least a portion of the small amount of antigen in the associated one of the vials is disposed thereon associated.
