1. A method, comprising:
by a wireless device:
displaying an indication of 5G NR mmW cell availability based at least in part on a radio resource control (RRC) connection that includes connectivity with a fifth generation (5G) new radio (NR) millimeter wave (mmW) cell;
determining, based at least in part on motion status information, a motion state of the wireless device, wherein the motion state is determined based on motion sensor information received from motion sensing circuitry of the wireless device; and
ceasing to display the indication of 5G NR mmW cell availability after an RRC connection is released or the 5G NR mmW cell is deconfigured based at least in part on the motion state of the wireless device.
