1. A method performed in a base station for facilitating frequency calibration of a receiver, the method comprising:
generating a first signal with periodic amplitude-shift-keying (ASK) modulation, wherein the first signal with periodic ASK modulation contains first and second frequency modulation tones;
transmitting the first signal as a calibration signal to the receiver to facilitate frequency calibration of the receiver; and
transmitting a second signal as a wakeup signal to the receiver.
