1. A method comprising:
sending, by a user device, a request to access content from a server farm having a first application server that is out-of-production,
wherein the user device is associated with a point to node client or a non-point to node client,
wherein the point to node client is identified by an IP address on a list of IP addresses of point to node clients to be routed to the out-of-production first application server in the server farm; and
at least one of:
(i) in response to the request originating from the point to node client, the request being to access content from the first application server, and the first application server being out-of-production,
receiving a first response to the request from the first application server; or
(ii) in response to the user device being associated with the non-point to node client, the request being to access content from the first application server, and the first application server being out-of-production,
receiving a second response to the request from a second application server different from the first application server.
