1. A communication device comprising:
circuitry, which, in operation,
maps a modulation symbol set to a Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) symbol, to which a type of reference signal is also mapped, in a first subframe, and
maps the modulation symbol set to another OFDM symbol, which is different from the OFDM symbol and to which the type of reference signal is also mapped, in a second subframe that is different from the first subframe; and
a transmitter, which, in operation,
transmits the modulation symbol set in the first subframe and in the second subframe, and
transmits the type of reference signal in the first subframe and in the second subframe.
