1. A network switch configured to receive data packets through a transceiver, the network switch comprising:
a power control circuit, coupled to the transceiver and controlled to provide electrical power to the transceiver;
a processor, coupled to the power control circuit and configured to:
determine whether the transceiver is in an abnormal state; and
in response to determining that the transceiver is in the abnormal state, first control the power control circuit to stop providing electrical power to the transceiver, and then control the power control circuit to re-provide electrical power to the transceiver; and
a control interface, coupled to the processor and the transceiver, the processor controlling the transceiver through the control interface;
wherein, in response to determining that the transceiver is in the abnormal state, the processor is further configured to cut off a connection between the control interface and the transceiver when controlling the power control circuit to stop providing electrical power to the transceiver, and to reconnect the control interface and the transceiver when controlling the power control circuit to re-provide the electrical power to the transceiver.
