1. A connector comprising:
a fixed housing configured to be disposed on a substrate;
a movable housing configured to be mounted so as to be displaceable relative to the fixed housing; and
a plurality of terminals configured to be electrically connected to partner connection members and support the movable housing so as to be displaceable relative to the fixed housing,
wherein the connector further comprises a movement restricting member made of a metal and configured to be attached to the fixed housing in a state where the movable housing has been inserted into the fixed housing,
the movable housing includes:
a main body portion configured to be inserted in a loose-fit state into an insertion hole formed in the fixed housing; and
a protrusion portion projecting from the main body portion,
in a state in which the main body portion has been inserted into the insertion hole, the protrusion portion projects from the main body portion along a perpendicular direction that is perpendicular to both an insertion direction in which the main body portion is inserted into the insertion hole and a width direction in which the plurality of terminals are arranged side by side in the fixed housing, and
the movement restricting member is further configured to restrict an amount of displacement of the movable housing relative to the fixed housing by abutting against the protrusion portion when the main body portion has been inserted into the insertion hole and becomes displaced relative to the fixed housing in a direction opposite to the insertion direction.
