1. A laminate of an eye-glass lens comprising:
a light absorbing layer containing a weight percentage of one or more light absorbing compounds disposed between a first optical film and a second optical film;
wherein said weight percentage of said one or more light absorbing compounds is related to a thickness of the light absorbing layer to obtain at least a transmittance value of no more than 50 percent for wavelengths in a range of 405 nm to 415 nm;
wherein a yellow index of said eye-glass lens is less than or equal to 16.
