1. A multi-element copper alloy, consisting of 97 to 98.5 atomic percent Cu, at most 0.1 atomic percent Al, 0.2 to 0.45 atomic percent Ni, 0.1 to 0.3 atomic percent Si, 0.15 to 0.45 atomic percent V, 0 to 0.3 atomic percent Nb, 0.2 to 0.45 atomic percent Ti, 0 to 0.45 atomic percent Cr, 0.15 to 0.45 atomic percent Zr, and at least one additive element selected from a group consisting of Sn, Fe, Mn, Mg, C, P, and B;
wherein a total content of the at least one additive element is in a range between 0.1 atomic percent and 1.2 atomic percent;
wherein said multi-element copper alloy is subjected to a homogenization process at 900 degrees Celsius for 6 hours and an age hardening process at 450 degrees Celsius for 50 hours, thereby having a wear resistance greater than 475 m/mm3.
