1. An input device comprising:
a plurality of input members;
a left holding section in which a subset of the plurality of input members are disposed;
a right holding section in which another subset of the plurality of input members are disposed;
a center section formed between the left holding section and the right holding section, wherein the center section includes:
(i) a first light emitting portion configured to emit light to indicate identification information assigned to the input device, and
(ii) a second light emitting portion configured to emit light based on further information different from the identification information, where the further information is associated with a state of the input device;
a first light source configured to cause the first light emitting portion to emit light; and
a second light source configured to cause the second light emitting portion to emit light,
wherein one of the first light source and the second light source is disposed beneath the other of the first light source and the second light source.
