1. A blender, comprising:
a main body having a first induction coil and a light receptor to receive a light signal; and
a container body having a second induction coil capable of inductively coupling to the first induction coil, and a light emitter to transmit the light signal,
wherein when the container body is seated on the main body, power is supplied to the light emitter via inductive coupling between the first induction coil and the second induction coil, the light signal is transmitted and received between the light emitter and the light receptor, and the main body distinguishes the container body on the main body by using the light signal received by the light receptor, and
wherein the controller is configured to determine a frequency of the light signal and distinguishes the container body based on the determined frequency of the light signal.
