1. An apparatus comprising processing circuitry and at least one memory including computer program code, the at least one memory and the computer program code configured to, with the processing circuitry, cause the apparatus to at least:
receive from a device, in association with an onboarding request by the device, an authentication message;
in response to receiving the authentication message, establish a secure communication tunnel with the device using an Extensible Authentication Protocol; and
transmit to the device, via the secure communication tunnel, provisioning parameters for the device to use to communicate with a provisioning server using an Internet Protocol (IP) to obtain a subscription profile or credential to a standalone non-public network (SO-NPN), the provisioning parameters comprising at least an address of the provisioning server, wherein the address of the provisioning server comprises a provisioning server Fully Qualified Domain Name (FQDN), an Internet protocol (IP) address or an IP address range.
