1. A method comprising:
generating a video game for consumption;
receiving, from another application, a notification during consumption of the video game, wherein the notification comprises: (a) an identification of an expected event, and (b) a real-time anticipated time of the expected event;
identifying an expected progression point within the video game that is expected to be reached by a user at the real-time anticipated time of the expected event;
generating for display within the video game, a dynamic notification, wherein the dynamic notification comprises: (a) the identification of the expected event and (b) an identified expected progression point within the video game that is expected to be reached by the user at the real-time anticipated time of the expected event.
