1. A method of selecting physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) candidates for non-coherent joint transmission (NC-JT) in a wireless network, the method comprising:
configuring a first set of ControlResourceSet and SearchSpace parameters and a second set of ControlResourceSet and SearchSpace parameters for a user equipment (UE), wherein the first and second sets of ControlResourceSet and SearchSpace parameters are configured on a first downlink (DL) component carrier to enable the NC-JT;
determining a first control channel element (CCE) limit for the first set of ControlResourceSet and SearchSpace parameters;
determining a second CCE limit for the second set of ControlResourceSet and SearchSpace parameters;
selecting one or more first PDCCH candidates for the first set of ControlResourceSet and SearchSpace parameters based at least in part on the first CCE limit;
selecting one or more second PDCCH candidates for the second set of ControlResourceSet and SearchSpace parameters based at least in part on the second CCE limit; and
receiving a first portion of an NC-JT communication from a first transmission and reception point (TRP) based on the one or more first PDCCH candidates; and
receiving a second portion of the NC-JT communication from a second TRP based on the one or more second PDCCH candidates.
