1. A method of using two discrete mobile devices to switch between communicating through a cellular long-range communications tower and communicating through a local femtocell existing within a shielded enclosure, comprising the steps of:
locating a first one of said two discrete mobile devices adjacent a portion of the body of the user;
transmitting from said first one of said two discrete mobile devices through first high-power, long-range RF communication signals through said cellular long-range communications tower to a remote recipient;
detecting presence within said shielded enclosure of both of said first one of said two discrete mobile devices and a second one of said two discrete mobile devices; and
switching said first one of said two discrete mobile devices from said communicating through said first high-power, long-range RF communication signals to communicating with said remote recipient through said femtocell existing within a shielded enclosure, said switching step only occurring responsive and subsequent to said detecting step.
