1. A medical system comprising N implantable medical devices (IMD), M rechargeable external power transfer devices (EPTDs), wherein M≥N≥2, and a mobile device cover, the mobile device cover comprising:
a holder for receiving and retaining a mobile device, the mobile device comprising an energy supply; and
a portable charging device having two or more charging stations, each charging station being configured and arranged for receiving and retaining the rechargeable EPTDs, each of the M rechargeable EPTDs comprising an energy storage;
wherein the portable charging device is further configured and arranged:
to transfer energy from the energy supply of the mobile device, when placed in the holder, to the two or more charging stations; and
to transfer energy from the charging stations to the energy storage of one or more of the M rechargeable EPTDs when placed in the two or more charging stations;
wherein each of the M rechargeable EPTDs is configured for wirelessly powering one or more of the IMDs and comprises a memory configured for storing at least N implantable device parameter sets, each of the at least N implantable device parameter sets comprising a unique identification code;
wherein each of the M rechargeable EPTDs is configured to wirelessly transmit implantable device parameter sets stored in the memory;
wherein each of the N IMDs comprises a unique IMD identification code and is configured to wirelessly receive at least a one implantable device parameter set of the at least N implantable device parameter sets having the unique identification code matching the unique IMD identification code, and to deploy said one implantable device parameter set, whereby the IMD is enabled to provide corresponding electrical stimulation to tissue where the IMD is inserted.
