1. A method comprising:
receiving, by a processing device, an input defining a stroke to be drawn on a user interface;
determining, by the processing device, a variable width of the stroke by leveraging a smooth noise function to apply jitter to adjust an initial width of the stroke at corresponding portions along the stroke;
generating, by the processing device, a vector object representing the stroke, the vector object having the variable width; and
displaying, by the processing device as the input is received, the vector object having the variable width in the user interface.
