1. A multi-modality medical imaging system comprising:
a first module having a first catcher detector; and
an image processor configured to determine angles of incidence for Compton events where a first scatter detector is included in the first module and to count photoelectric events where a first physical aperture is included in the first module, wherein the image processor is configured to generate a single photon emission computed tomography image from the count and a Compton image from the Compton events, and further comprising a display configured to display the single photon emission computed tomography image and the Compton image.
