1. A computer-implemented method comprising:
displaying, by a display screen of a computer system, a graphical user interface comprising a plurality of shape selection user interface elements, the plurality of shape selection user interface elements defining a plurality of geometric shapes that are manipulable by a user via the graphical user interface;
receiving, by the computer system, a bone model;
receiving, by the computer system, a selected area on the bone model defined according to at least one of the plurality of geometric shapes selected by a user via at least one of the plurality of shape selection user interface elements;
defining, by the computer system, a selected volume of the bone model according to the selected area;
voxelizing, by the computer system, the selected volume;
removing, by the computer system, voxels corresponding to the voxelized selected volume from the bone model to generate an updated bone model; and
displaying, by the display screen of the computer system, the updated bone model.
