1. An image processing apparatus comprising:
at least one processor;
at least one memory storing instructions that, when executed by the at least one processor, cause the image processing apparatus to:
obtain data corresponding to an original image;
obtain region information indicating a first region and a second region, the first region indicating an area of a print original that, when the print original is read, should have a first density and the second region indicating an area of the print original that, when the print original is read, should have a second density that is lower than the first density;
perform a first embedding of first information in the data corresponding to the original image by embedding a pattern with directivity in the first region and embedding, in the second region, another pattern in which the number of pixels printed adjacent to printed pixels is smaller than the number of pixels printed adjacent to printed pixels in the pattern with directivity,
wherein the first embedding is performed by generating a first multiplexed image created by embedding the pattern with directivity in the first region using a first method and by embedding, in the second region, the another pattern in which the number of pixels printed adjacent to printed pixels is smaller than the number of pixels printed adjacent to printed pixels in the first region, the first method being a method in which a shape of the pattern with directivity is changed;
perform a second embedding of second information in the data corresponding to the original image, the second information being a different type of information from the first information embedded by the first embedding,
wherein the second embedding is performed by generating a second multiplexed image created by embedding the second information in the first multiplexed image using a second method, the second method being a method in which both a density and a shape of pattern are changed; and
control outputting of the print original by using the second multiplexed image; and
a printer that prints the print original on a recording medium.
