1. A user equipment (UE), comprising:
at least one memory; and
at least one processor coupled with the at least one memory and configured to cause the UE to:
select a relay UE from a plurality of UEs based at least in part on one or more of a hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) feedback received from the relay UE, or a pre-configuration, or a combination thereof;
reserve a resource for the relay UE for transmission of wireless communication; and
transmit, to the relay UE, control information comprising a destination identifier (ID), a relay flag, a HARQ ID, and information indicating the resource for the relay UE for transmission of the wireless communication.
