1. A method, comprising:
receiving, at a network bridge, a message from a computer system, wherein the network bridge stores a forwarding table, wherein the message is received based on the computer system moving from a first location to a second location with respect to the network bridge;
determining, by the network bridge, a type of the message; and
upon a determination that the type of message is a network notification message, determining, by the network bridge, whether data within the message corresponds to an entry within the forwarding table;
wherein the network bridge is configured to:
upon determining that the data within the message corresponds to the entry within the forwarding table, halt a transmission of the message; and
upon determining that the data within the message does not correspond to the entry in the forwarding table, transmit the message to a device in communication with the network bridge.
