36. An apparatus for providing phase compensation to reduce phase noise, the apparatus comprising:
means for identifying reference symbols from received symbols via a wireless communication network;
means for obtaining generated reference symbols by a component of a demapping system;
means for calculating a phase compensation coefficient in accordance with the reference symbols and the generated reference symbols; and
means for generating real (Re) bit values and imaginary (Im) bit values by multiplying an input with the phase compensation coefficient.
