1. An electronic device comprising:
a processor configured to provide image data; and
a display device configured to display an image based on the image data, the display device comprising:
a display panel including a plurality of pixels;
a controller configured to receive the image data including data representing a logo, detect a logo region including the logo in the image data, set a peripheral region adjacent to the logo region based on one or more parameters corresponding to a shape of the peripheral region, determine a correction gain based on a quotient of a second gray level of the peripheral region adjacent to the logo region and a first gray level of the logo region, and generate corrected image data by correcting the image data based on the correction gain; and
a data driver configured to provide data signals to the plurality of pixels based on the corrected image data,
wherein the controller determines a luminance ratio of a luminance of the peripheral region to a luminance of the logo region based on the quotient of the second gray level and the first gray level, and determines the correction gain based on the luminance ratio.
