1. A head-mounted display displaying an augmented reality (AR) object in a real space so as to form a mixed reality (MR) space, the display comprising:
a camera configured to capture a video of the real space;
a distance-measuring camera configured to measure a distance from a real object in the real space; and
a controller configured to:
recognize the real object from the captured video;
obtain the AR object and assigning a position, which includes a distance in the real space, to the AR object;
generate video of the MR space while reflecting perspective of the real object and the AR object;
display the generated video of the MR space on the head-mounted display;
detect, from the captured video, a predetermined object;
generate, in response to detecting the predetermined object, an MR space operation screen and simplify the MR space by converting the real object and the AR object into patterned video; and
display the MR space operation screen on the detected predetermined object.
