1. A desktop electronic device, comprising:
a cylindrical body having a longitudinal axis and defining an internal volume, the cylindrical body comprising: a multi-part central core, an external housing disposed around at least a portion of the multi-part central core, a cap centered at and perpendicular to the longitudinal axis and coupled to a first distal end of the body, a plurality of apertures that allow passage of an audible sound, and a base unit centered at and perpendicular to the longitudinal axis and coupled to a second distal end of the body, opposite the first distal end;
a plurality of components disposed within the internal volume, the plurality of components comprising: one or more circuit assemblies including a processing unit that is offset from and parallel to the longitudinal axis and an RF circuit, and an air moving component capable of providing the audible sound; and
a plurality of antennas arranged symmetrically around the longitudinal axis, wherein each of the plurality of antennas is coupled by a corresponding antenna cable to the RF circuit.
