1. A fluid path assembly, comprising:
a piston pump block positioned between a first piston plate and a second piston plate, the first piston plate and the second piston plate aligned on a first central axis;
a first needle septum and a second needle septum positioned along a second central axis, the second central axis perpendicular to the first central axis, wherein the first needle septum and the second needle septum are further positioned on opposing sides of the piston pump block along the second central axis; and
a tube component aligned with respect to the second central axis and positioned through the first needle septum, the second needle septum, and the piston pump block, the tube component configured to move in directions parallel to the second central axis, wherein the first needle septum and the second needle septum are configured to be pierced by the tube component.
