1. A condition monitoring system that monitors a condition of a wind turbine generator, the condition monitoring system comprising:
a monitoring terminal;
an acceleration sensor; and
a data processor, wherein
the data processor configured to communicate with a power generation controller of the wind turbine generator,
the data processor is configured to calculate a diagnostic parameter from data measured by the acceleration sensor, determine a degree of damage to a bearing or a gear included in the wind turbine generator based on the diagnostic parameter, and output information indicating a degree of suppression of electric power generated by the wind turbine generator in accordance with the degree of damage to the bearing or the gear,
the data processor is configured to output a suppression signal to the power generation controller to suppress a degree of progress of damage to the bearing or gear based on the information indicating the degree of suppression,
the data processor increases a frequency of measurement by the acceleration sensor when magnitude of the diagnostic parameter exceeds a threshold value,
the acceleration sensor includes a plurality of acceleration sensor elements,
the data processor calculates the diagnostic parameter for each piece of data measured by each of the plurality of acceleration sensor elements, and
when there is an acceleration sensor element in which magnitude of a corresponding diagnostic parameter exceeds the threshold value among the plurality of acceleration sensor elements, the data processor increases the frequency of measurement by the plurality of acceleration sensor elements.
