1. A combination of a thermal transfer sheet and an intermediate transfer medium comprising:
a thermal transfer sheet comprising a first substrate and a metallic luster layer containing a metal pigment and a resin material,
wherein the resin material is at least one resin material selected from the group consisting of polyesters, vinyl resins, and (meth)acrylic resins, and
wherein the metallic luster layer has a 45-degree specular gloss, measured with a gloss meter in accordance with 45-degree specular glossiness-methods of measurement described in JIS Z 8741, in a range of 30% to 80%; and
an intermediate transfer medium, comprising a second substrate and a transfer layer containing a receiving layer,
wherein the receiving layer contains at least one resin material selected from the group consisting of vinyl chloride-vinyl acetate copolymers and epoxy resins, and
wherein the second substrate has a haze, measured in accordance with JIS K 7136, in a range of 15% to 50%.
