1. A brain stimulation system for application of non-invasive electric, magnetic, and/or electromagnetic brain stimulation signals to a treated subject, said brain stimulation system comprising:
sensing means for acquiring brain state signals from the treated subject;
an integrated circuit device, comprising at least one processor, at least one memory, and a digital signal processing (DSP) unit operated by said at least one processor and configured to carry out the following:
process the acquired brain state signals and remove therefrom artifacts and/or interferences induced by the non-invasive electric, magnetic and/or electromagnetic brain stimulation signals applied by said brain stimulation system to the treated subject;
predict at least one brain state about to occur in the treated subject; and
generate brain stimulation data; and
a stimulation generator electrically connected to said integrated circuit device to receive the brain stimulation data from said DSP unit of said integrated circuit device, generate based on said brain stimulation data the non-invasive electric, magnetic and/or electromagnetic brain stimulation signals to be applied to the treated subject, adjust and/or regulate, in real-time at least one of shape, timing, and/or frequency of the non-invasive electric, magnetic, and/or electromagnetic brain stimulation signals applied to the treated subject.
