a sheet stacking plate on which sheets are to be stacked;
a cassette main body configured to support the sheet stacking plate;
a regulating device disposed at the cassette main body to be movable in a first direction and movable in a second direction opposite to the first direction, and configured to regulate an end position of the sheets;
a rack gear disposed at the cassette main body; and
a plurality of engaged portions disposed at the cassette main body in the moving direction of the regulating device, wherein the plurality of engaged portions is arranged at positions separated from the rack gear with respect to a direction intersecting the moving direction of the regulating device,
wherein the regulating device includes:
a holding member,
a lever disposed rotatably at the holding member and configured to be operated,
a first elastic member,
a first engaging portion configured to be urged by the first elastic member to engage with the plurality of engaged portions,
a second engaging portion movable in a vertical direction and configured to engage with the rack gear,
a second elastic member configured to urge the second engaging portion downward, and
an urging portion provided at the lever and configured to urge the second engaging portion upward against the second elastic member,
wherein teeth of the rack gear are aligned in the direction of movement of the regulating device,
wherein the lever includes a rotating shaft portion protruding in the direction intersecting the moving direction, and is rotatable with respect to the holding member using the rotating shaft portion,
wherein the urging portion supports a contact region where the urging portion and the second engaging portion contact from below,
wherein an upper end of the second elastic member is disposed above an upper end of the first elastic member, and
