1. A method for securing one or more devices in a network, the method comprising:
receiving, at a secured device on a home network, a message from an unsecured device, wherein the message is intended for a destination device, wherein the destination device comprises a security client and an application for processing messages;
establishing, by malware detection logic of the secured device, a secure communication channel between the malware detection logic of the secured device and the security client of the destination device;
executing, by the malware detection logic, a validation test on the message to determine if the message includes malware;
responsive to determining that the message includes the malware, notifying the security client of the destination device that the message includes the malware and will not be transmitted; and
responsive to determining that the message includes the malware, informing one or more other devices of the home network to re-route messages through the malware detection logic.
