1. A method performed by a user equipment (UE), the method comprising:
receiving configuration information related to positioning reference signal (PRS) resource sets each including one or more PRS resources; and
performing PRS reception based on the configuration information,
wherein the configuration information includes one or more PRS resource identifiers (IDs) of the one or more PRS resources in each PRS resource set, and transmission periodicity and slot offset information related to each PRS resource set,
wherein, for a single instance of a first PRS resource set, each PRS resource in the first PRS resource set is repeated based on repetition information included in the configuration information,
wherein a time gap is configured between repetitions of a PRS resource with a same PRS ID within the single instance of the first PRS resource set, and
wherein each PRS resource in the first PRS resource set is associated with each PRS beam of a transmission reception point (TRP).
