1. A method implemented by a wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU), the method comprising:
receiving configuration information from a base station, the configuration information indicating uplink transmission resources that are reserved for transmission of at least data corresponding to a first traffic type, wherein the configuration information indicates that uplink transmission resources are not to be used for transmission of at least data corresponding to a second traffic type, wherein the uplink transmission resources correspond to a subset of uplink transmission resources of a resource pool;
determining that the data corresponding to the first traffic type has become available for transmission; and
transmitting the data corresponding to the first traffic type using the uplink transmission resources, wherein transmission of the data corresponding to the first traffic type is initiated using the uplink transmission resources in response to determining that the data corresponding to the first traffic type has become available for transmission.
