1. A system for controlling a drive device, the system comprising:
a first packaged module including a first isolation barrier between a first voltage domain and a second voltage domain higher than the first voltage domain, and a first fault detection circuit configured to provide an indication of a fault condition associated with a first drive device across the first isolation barrier to the first voltage domain in response to detecting the fault condition in the second voltage domain; and
a second packaged module including a second isolation barrier between the first voltage domain and the second voltage domain, a first gate driver circuit in the second voltage domain, and a driver control circuit in the first voltage domain configured to generate at least one first device control signal based at least on a first input control signal, the first input control signal generated in response to the indication of the fault condition, the first gate driver circuit configured to drive a first node to control the first drive device based on the at least one first device control signal, which is received across the second isolation barrier.
