1. A rectifier circuit comprising:
a current source coupled between an auxiliary power terminal and a ground terminal;
an amplifier having first and second amplifier inputs and an amplifier output, wherein the first amplifier input is coupled to the current source;
a transistor coupled between the auxiliary power terminal and a damping terminal, and having a control terminal coupled to the amplifier output;
a gate drive circuit having a gate drive input and a gate drive output, wherein the gate drive input is coupled to the damping terminal; and
a gallium nitride field effect transistor (GaN FET) coupled between the damping terminal and a bootstrap supply terminal, and having a GaN control terminal coupled to the gate drive output.
