1. An interactive touch sensing system and portable computer system, comprising:
a touch sensing system configured to detect finger touch position in a generally planar virtual touch sensing area adjacent to a movable physical surface;
a reference feature configured on or attached to the physical surface such that it moves with the physical surface; and
a portable computer system including a display, the computer system receiving the finger touch position information and providing control of a graphical user interface displayed on the display in response to the touch position information;
the interactive system further comprising a camera configured on or attached to the display and movable relative to the virtual touch sensing area, the camera configured to image the reference feature and virtual touch sensing area, and a processor which implements an algorithm using image data from the camera to detect movement of the feature relative to the camera and adjust virtual touch control using the detected relative movement.
