1. A downhole tool for use in a wellbore, the downhole tool comprising:
a packer chassis;
a first fingered member comprising a first member body and a plurality of first member fingers having respective longitudinal slots therebetween; and
a second fingered member positioned directly adjacent the first fingered member, and comprising a second member body and a plurality of second member fingers having respective finger midpoints;
wherein when the downhole tool is in a run-in configuration each of the respective longitudinal slots of the first fingered member are proximately aligned to the respective finger midpoints of the second fingered member,
wherein the first fingered member comprises a first outer annular groove formed in a first region of the first member body, the first region facilitating the plurality of the first member fingers ability to flex outwardly and away from the first member body when the downhole tool is moved from the run-in configuration to a set configuration, and
wherein the second fingered member comprises a respective outer annular groove formed in a respective region of the second member body, the respective region facilitating the plurality of the second member fingers ability to flex outwardly and away from the second member body when the downhole tool is moved to the set configuration.
