1. A penile implant, comprising:
a base portion;
an extending portion including a first member and a second member, the first member defining a cavity, the extending portion being configured to be placed in a first configuration and a second configuration, the extending portion having a first length when the extending portion is in the first configuration, the extending portion having a second length when the extending portion is in the second configuration, the second length being greater than the first length, wherein the first member of the extending portion includes a first engagement portion and a second engagement portion, the second member of the extending portion includes an engagement portion, the engagement portion of the second member of the extending portion being configured to engage the first engagement portion of the first member of the extending portion when the extending portion is in the first configuration, the engagement portion of the second member of the extending portion being configured to engage the second engagement portion of the first member of the extending portion when the extending portion is in the second configuration; and
an articulating portion configured to be placed in a curved configuration and a substantially linear configuration,
wherein the extending portion is disposed between the base portion and the articulating portion.
