1. A femoral nail comprising a proximal portion configured to engage a driving tool for driving the femoral nail into a femur; a distal portion remote from the proximal portion; and an intermediate portion disposed between the proximal portion and distal portion, the intermediate portion having a first bent section defined by a third bend angle of a non-zero radius of curvature in a third plane, the third bend angle being a resultant of a first bend angle within a first plane and a second bend angle within a second plane, the first and second planes intersecting at an oblique angle relative to each other, a reference plane orthogonal to the first plane extending between the second and third planes.
