1. A composition for use as an insecticide comprising:
an essential oil component, the essential oil component comprising at least one of cinnamon oil, clove oil, thyme oil, and/or sesame oil;
an Acetyl Tributyl Citrate (ATC) component; and
an amorphous precipitated silica component,
wherein the essential oil component is present in the composition in an amount of 0.1-10 wt. %, based on the total weight of the composition,
wherein the ATC component is present in an amount of 1-15 wt. %, based on the total weight of the composition, and
wherein the amorphous precipitated silica component is present in the composition in an amount of 1-10 wt. %, based on the total weight of the composition.
