1. A communication system, comprising:
a central cloud server that comprises a processor and a connectivity enhanced database, wherein the processor is configured to:
periodically obtain sensing information from a first edge device in motion at a first travel path;
predict, whether a cellular connectivity of the first edge device in motion, with a first base station is to be interrupted in an upcoming point of time, based on the sensing information;
trigger an alternative wireless connectivity option at the first edge device bypassing an initial access-search at the first edge device to maintain the cellular connectivity of the first edge device with the first base station or a new base station of a plurality of base stations, when the cellular connectivity of the first edge device is predicted to be interrupted;
transmit a connection request from the first edge device to an inference server when the alternative wireless connectivity option is triggered at the first edge device; and
transmit input features derived from the sensing information to the inference server, and
wherein the first edge device is configured to:
receive wireless connectivity enhanced information from the inference server, wherein the wireless connectivity enhanced information includes initial access details for a road-side unit (RSU) device and the first edge device,
wherein the cellular connectively of the first edge device is one of:
maintained directly with the first base station or the new base station using the alternative wireless connectivity option, or
maintained indirectly with the first base station or the new base station via the RSU device using the initial access details received from the inference server.
