1. A method comprising:
determining, by a base station, that an uplink data channel power control parameter set for an uplink data channel beam should be used by a user device to adjust a sounding reference signal transmission power;
causing transmission, by the base station, to the user device, of control information indicating that an uplink data channel power control parameter set for an uplink data channel beam should be used to adjust a sounding reference signal transmission power; and
receiving, by the base station, from the user device, via a sounding reference signal resource and a sounding reference signal beam, a sounding reference signal which was adjusted by the sounding reference signal transmission power based on the uplink data channel power control parameter set.
