1. A method implemented by a wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU), the method comprising:
the WTRU receiving a radio resource control (RRC) message comprising discontinuous reception (DRX) parameters, the DRX parameters comprising an indication of a first DRX cycle length, and an indication of a second DRX cycle length, wherein the first DRX cycle length is a multiple of the second DRX cycle length;
the WTRU receiving a first type of DRX trigger;
the WTRU performing DRX using the first DRX cycle length based on receiving the first type of DRX trigger;
the WTRU receiving a second type of DRX trigger; and
the WTRU performing DRX using the second DRX cycle length based on receiving the second type of DRX trigger.
