1. A method performed by a first wireless device operating in a wireless communication system, the method comprising:
receiving, from a network via a dedicated signaling in a connected state, a first service data adaptation protocol (SDAP) configuration for a quality of service (QoS) flow to data radio bearer (DRB) mapping;
applying, in the connected state, the first SDAP configuration;
upon leaving the connected state, keeping applying the first SDAP configuration for a time duration until a second SDAP configuration is configured; and
after the time duration, applying the second SDAP configuration which is based on a pre-configuration for the QoS flow to DRB mapping.
